How To Use Smart Trimmer On Mac With UniConverter
Whether you are a teacher who wants to record an uninterrupted lecture or a podcaster looking to remove awkward silences, the editing tasks can be daunting. Removing the silence or unwanted parts can be hectic, especially if the video is lengthy. Thanks to Wondershare UniConverter, the process has been simplified with AI integration, which smartly trims the imported content.
The tool leverages AI to detect the unwanted silent segments from your videos efficiently. It lets users customize the trimming length and volume level to make the video look and sound professional.
Step-by-Step Guide to Use UniConverter’s Smart Trimmer
Step 1. Opt For Smart Trimmer Feature
To initiate the process, access the tool on your Mac and head to the homepage. From here, select the Smart Trimmer feature under the Video section and add your video to let the tool process it with the Add File(s) button.
Step 2. Make Changes to the Video and Save
In the Remove Silent Segments section, select the unwanted area from the video track and press the Scissors icon to remove it. You can specify the Audio Length in seconds within the designated field. Under the Volume field, enter the required video volume in percentage, and for delayed audio, input the desired time in seconds in the Audio Buffer field. Before finalizing the process, click the Run button to check if the edits are alright.
Once you are satisfied, click the Save button to save the trimmed video. For smart trimming more videos, you can use the Add File button on the top-left to perform batch processing. Before finalizing the process, check the output location or set a new one using the Folder icon.
Step 3. Upload Video File(s) in the Specific Portrait Section
To perform another form of smart trimming, access Specific Portrait mode from the top of the page and import the desired files.
Step 4. Add a Sample Image to Remove it From the Video
After uploading the video, go to the right side and click Add Image to upload an image from your device. Alternatively, you can click the Screenshot option to capture an instant snapshot of the unrequired object in the video frame. To remove the uploaded or captured object from the entire video, select Remove in the Method drop-down. To review the changes, click Run and, consequently, use the Save button to export the file to your Mac.
Step 5. Play the Video in the UniConverter Player
When you are directed to the file destination folder, select it, and it will appear in UniConverter Player. Here, you can play it and check the results after trimming the video.
