How to Crop Video on Mac With Wondershare UniConverter
Whether you are a professional video editor or a vlogger, you might need to maintain your video’s aesthetics and focus on the main subject. Moreover, you might also need to remove distractions and highlight the key elements of the video. For this, Wondershare UniConverter has introduced 2 convenient methods to crop unwanted segments from your visual content.
Users can remove the unwanted area from the video according to their choice or let the tool do it automatically for them. With the manual cropping method, users get multiple aspect ratio options to select from. Moreover, with custom crop, you can select the area of your choice to keep in the video.
Simplified Guide to Crop Video with UniConverter
Method 1. Manual Cropping
Step 1. Start by Accessing UniConverter’s Video Editor
Once you have launched the tool on your Mac device, access the Video Editor from its homepage under the Video section. Click on the +Add File(s) button to import the video from which you want to crop the area.
Step 2. Access the Crop Option
After the video is imported successfully in the next interface, expand the Video section located on the right side. Here, enable the toggle next to Crop to open multiple aspect ratio options. Select your desired aspect ratio or press Custom to select the area of your choice.
Moving on, scroll down to the Export Options and adjust the File Format and File Size based on your preferences. If you want to work on more than one video, simply select the +Add Files button to upload them to the procedure. Finally, set the output file location by setting the Save To tab and hitting the Export button.
Method 2. Auto Crop
Step 1. Select the Auto Crop Feature
From the tool's More Tools tab, select the Video section to opt for the Auto Crop feature by clicking on it. Once you are at the Auto Crop interface, select the +Import File to upload the video and begin the auto-cropping procedure at UniConverter.
Step 2. Select the Aspect Ratio
When the video is imported, access the Adjust Frame option on the right and select the platform according to your preferences by expanding the drop-down menu. Next, select the Motion Speed from the respective drop-down menu. Once the video is cropped automatically, click the Export button located at the bottom of the window to save the video.
