How to Clone Your Voice

Part 1: Introduction

When creating longer videos, narration can be time-consuming to record. At the same time, you may want to replace the original audio in a downloaded video with your own voice to create a more interesting effect. In this case, you can use the sound cloning feature in UniConverter to clone your own voice and save time by choosing your own voice directly when generating narration audio.

With UniConverter, you can create your own sound type by recording your voice and saving it to a library.

Part 2: How to clone voice

Step 1 Download and launch UniConverter

Once you download and install UniConverter, click on it and launch the robust tool. You’ll see several Hot features in the homepage. Click “Text to Speech” under the “Audio” section of the software’s interface.

Step 2 Record Audio

Clicking on 'Add new clone' will bring up the audio recording pop-up window, where you will find text corresponding to the language you have chosen. You can switch the microphone supported by your system for recording; by default, you can use the system microphone.

Click the Record button after the countdown has finished to start recording. A progress bar will then be displayed on the page to show the recording time and whether the microphone is recognised. Once the recording has reached a minimum length of 10 seconds, the progress bar will change from red to green.

Once cloning is complete, click the Record button again to end the recording. You can then jump to the final page once the recording has finished. Here, you can rename the tone. You can also preview the tone. If you are not satisfied, click Re-record to start again. Once you have checked that there are no problems, you can start cloning the tone by selecting the user statement.

Step 3 Clone Voice

Click 'Clone Voice' to access the tone clone waiting page. Here, you can choose to cancel the clone and return to the recording completion page. Once the clone is successful, the completion page will be displayed showing the prompt.

Click on the ok button to go directly to the “Cloned” tab and you will see the cloned tone in the list.
