How to Stream Video to TV
The integrated Wondershare media server offers a straightforward way to stream your videos to your big screen TV. The instructions below will guide you through the simple process of casting videos to TV.
Supported Formats: AVI, MKV, RM, RMVB, MOV, MPG, VOB, FLV, WMV, ASF, TS, M2TS, MP4, M4V, 3G2, 3GP, DIVX, DV, F4V, MTS, OGV, TOD, TP, TRP, WEBM, MP3, WMA, APE, AAC, FLAC, OGG, M4A, WAV, AC3, MP2.
Video Tutorial: Wondershare UniConverter - Stream to TV
Step 1 Open Wondershare Media Server
Run Wondershare UniConverter (originally Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate) and click Toolbox in the top, then choose Cast to TV under Media Tools category.
You’d get a separate window for Wondershare Media Server.
Step 2 Connect Your Device to PC
If the video you want to stream is on your computer, make sure your smart TV is connected to the same work to your PC.
If you want to stream your video from Chromecast, Xbox 360, Apple TV, PS3, Roku or other DLNA certified devices to TV, you need to connect them to TV and select the device name from the device list.
Step 3 Add Video Files
Wondershare Media Server provides 2 options to add your favorite videos for streaming.
1. Add from PC library
It automatically scans the Movie from your PC library by default. You can switch to TV Show, Home Video, Music or Computer category and click Disk Scan to manually search local videos from your disk.
If the media server still fails to scan your desired video, you can click the Import button to add it to your computer manually.
2. Add from Wondershare UniConverter
Click Convert or Download tab in the sidebar, it will display the converted or downloaded video within the program.
Step 4 Play Video on TV
Hover your mouse over the videos and you’ll see a Wi-Fi like icon in the middle.
Click the icon to start playing on your PC and you can see the video streaming to your TV as well.
